How to use
- Check the tension: open the blades and let one fall. It should close about two-thirds of the way.
- Place your ring finger and thumb in the rings, with your little finger on the tang if there is one.
- Move only your thumb; keep the still blade steady for clean, even lines.
- For thinning shears, cut at mid-length or ends to remove bulk and blend.
Care & cleaning
- Wipe hair and moisture off the blades after every cut.
- Put a drop of scissor oil on the pivot regularly.
- Store closed, in a case, and never drop your shears; a fall can damage the edge.
- Have them professionally sharpened when they start to fold or push hair.
